Saturday, May 15 - Marie Northrop Lecture Series:  "Mayor Frank L. Shaw: 1933 to 1938" by John Buntin, historian and author of LA Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America’s Most Seductive City.  Please join us at the Taper Auditorium at 2:00 p.m. at the Richard Riordan Central Library.

Thursday, June 24 – Presentation on SurveyLA: the first-ever comprehensive program to identify significant historic resources throughout our city. Janet Hansen of the City’s Office of Historic Resources discusses this groundbreaking project.
